Rewind the clock to 2012, when myself, Luke, and my partner Lucy, first set eyes on our very first Crested Gecko — Spyro, a Flame morph.

Little did we know at the time just how much that one little gecko would change our lives. ❤️

Spyro is still very much part of our collection today, making her a special reminder of where our journey began and just how far we have come.

Since those early days in 2012, the world of Crested Geckos has changed dramatically. Morphs and genetics have become far more diverse, while our understanding of their husbandry, care and individual needs continues to develop and improve.

Over the years, we’ve watched the hobby evolve, learned from our own experiences, and continued to expand our knowledge and passion for these incredible animals.

What started with one Crested Gecko has grown into something much bigger — Leaping Cresties.

Our goal is to continue learning, improving and providing the very best care possible for our geckos, while sharing our passion with fellow keepers and helping others discover just how amazing these little animals can be.

At Leaping Cresties, the health and welfare of our geckos always comes first. We take pride in giving each of our reptiles the best possible start in life, from their diet and housing to their handling and day-to-day care.

We believe that owning a reptile is a rewarding experience, and we’re always happy to share our knowledge and support new and experienced keepers alike.
